MONETA is an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm (RIA) headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, with offices nationwide. Are you passionate about finance and eager to gain hands-on experience in wealth management? Join us for a dynamic summer internship where you will work alongside seasoned professionals in a leading wealth management firm.

As a Wealth Management Intern, you will support our firm where you will gain exposure to various aspects of financial planning, investment strategies, and client relationship management. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a team-based, client-focused environment and contribute to real-world projects. This internship provides a foundational introduction to the wealth management profession and offers insight into potential career opportunities within Moneta.

Essential Responsibilities Contribute to projects that ensure integrity of client dataGain exposure to various types of financial planning softwareSupport client service activities through research, data gathering, analysis, meeting preparation, and other initiatives related to financial planning and wealth management servicesHelp coordinate meetings, events, and other business activities as neededContribute to department-specific initiatives and special projectsLearning & Development OpportunitiesReceive mentorship from experienced wealth management professionals while participating in networking events, training programs, and career development opportunities across the firmDevelop an understanding of Monetas business model, services, and client experience philosophyLearn foundational concepts related to financial planning, investment management, and the RIA industryComplete assigned learning activities and professional development opportunitiesDevelop professional skills including communication, presentation, teamwork, and relationship management through hands-on projects and learning opportunitiesQualificationsProgress toward B.S. Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAvailability to work onsite in the officeStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsInterest in financial planning, wealth management, and client serviceAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAdditional InformationMoneta is a fiduciary fee-only Registered Investment Advisory firm and unable to hold securities licenses with the exception of Series 65. We also do not allow outside business activities, insurance commissions and/or trails.
