Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient accounts and ensure accurate billing and payment processing
  • Review and reconcile patient financial records
  • Assist patients with inquiries regarding their accounts and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and ensure timely reimbursement
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Utilize financial software and databases to update and track patient accounts
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting
Requirements:
  • Strong math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately
  • Excellent research and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in financial sales or planning is required
  • Knowledge of banking processes and procedures is a plus
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to effectively communicate financial information
Credentials/Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Health Care Administration preferred
  • 1•2 years of medical office experience required
