Job Description
We built the Apex office to serve the Research Triangle area for the long term. Our Ohio home office has 16 years of history and approximately 300 client households. We are now building the Apex team with the same intentionality, and the Paraplanner is the next critical hire. This role is for someone who wants to build a career inside a growing advisory practice, not someone looking for a temporary position on the way to starting their own. What You Will Do Build and maintain financial plans in Right Capital for clients Prepare client strategy meeting agendas and compile updated financial data before each meeting Run retirement projections, Roth conversion analyses, Social Security claiming models, and tax planning scenarios Coordinate new client data-gathering and onboarding workflows Track post-meeting action items and follow through with the Client Service Associate Flag beneficiary, insurance, contribution, and RMD items that need attention Maintain accurate records in Wealthbox CRM What We Are Looking For 2 or more years of financial planning or wealth management experience Hands-on experience preparing comprehensive financial plans Proficiency in at least one financial planning platform (Right Capital strongly preferred) CFP® designation or actively in progress High attention to detail, strong written communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities Comfort working in a collaborative team structure with a long-term view What This Role Offers Daily collaboration with Sunwook Jin, CFP®, EA, who will invest in your development A defined career path as the Apex team grows toward its full capacity Substantive, intellectually engaging work on real client financial plans Stable office environment in Apex, NC Base salary of $50,000 to $70,000 depending on experience and credentials, plus performance bonus 401(k) retirement plan Group health insurance for the employee (adding a spouse or dependents is available at an additional cost deducted from pay) How to Apply Submit your resume on Indeed.
