Responsibilities:
What You Will Be Doing As a Retirement Planning Advisor in Omaha, you will: Meet personally with individuals, couples and families approaching or living in retirement Conduct thoughtful conversations about healthcare, income, protection and legacy goals Review clients' current insurance coverage and identify possible gaps Explain Medicare, annuity, life insurance and long-term care options clearly Help clients compare available solutions from multiple insurance carriers Assist with applications, enrollments and benefits delivery Develop lasting client relationships through consistent follow-up and service Build your practice through company-supported opportunities, referrals, educational outreach and community relationships Participate in ongoing product education, sales training and professional coaching Maintain accurate records and conduct business according to all ethical, company and regulatory standards This is not transactional selling. Qualifications:
What's Required to Begin High school diploma or equivalent Legal authorization to work in the United States Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to meet clients in person throughout Omaha and nearby communities Ability to obtain a Nebraska health and life insurance license Strong communication, listening and relationship-building skills Professionalism, integrity and respect for confidential information Willingness to learn complex subjects and explain them simply Motivation to build relationships and develop new business Financial readiness to begin a 1099, commission-based career An active insurance license is helpful but not required to apply. Qualified candidates will receive information about the licensing process.
