Job Description

NestEgg Advisors is an independent, fee-based financial planning firm seeking a Financial Advisor to join our growing team. This role offers hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear path to becoming a lead advisor. What You'll Do
  • Prepare for client review meetings with Senior Financial Advisor
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Senior Financial Advisor and gradually take on more responsibility
  • Complete necessary follow-up work after client review meetings and assign tasks to Client Services Associates
  • Analyze financial situations and develop comprehensive plans covering retirement, investments, tax strategies, insurance, and estate considerations
  • Prepare retirement income projections and help clients stay on track toward their goals
  • Monitor client portfolios and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Assist in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and rebalancing
  • Conduct investment research using an open architecture, fee-based platform
  • Analyze asset allocation, performance, and rebalancing strategies
  • Coordinate with client service associates to implement portfolio changes
  • Review tax returns, estate documents, and beneficiary designations
  • Coordinate with CPAs and attorneys
  • Assist with financial planning workshops and educational seminars
  • Support business development initiatives
  • Build long-term client relationships in a high-retention environment Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of financial planning experience with retail clients
  • CFP® designation or clear commitment to obtaining it within two years
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Compensation, Hours, & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience)
  • Full-time, in-office position requiring 40 hours per week
  • Company-paid licensing, affiliation fees, and E&O insurance
  • Support for CFP coursework and board exam
