Job Description
Client Service Advisor - Financial Planning Midwest Financial Planning Group is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Service Advisor to support our Private Wealth Advisors and Paraplanners in delivering comprehensive financial planning and exceptional client service. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys managing client relationships, coordinating financial planning activities, and ensuring follow-through on recommendations. The Client Service Advisor plays a key role in enhancing the overall client experience by supporting financial planning, insurance planning, meeting preparation, opportunity management, and service execution. This position reports to the Director of Client Service and works closely with advisors and internal operations teams.

We are seeking a Service Advisor to manage a variety of tasks related to financial planning, relationship management, and client case preparation. You'll work closely with our Private Wealth Advisors and Paraplanners to enhance the client experience, focusing on areas like financial planning, insurance planning, client presentations, and service follow-through. You will report to the Director of Client Services.Essential duties:
FINANCIAL PLANNING & RECOMMENDATIONS
- Collaborate with Private Wealth Advisors to design and implement financial plan recommendations.
- Prepare agendas and update client information for meetings.
- Create supporting documents and reports for recommendation meetings, including illustrations, investment proposals, and other visuals.
- Facilitate case planning meetings with Private Wealth Advisors.
- Collect and document client information during meetings, including updated statements and FF documentation.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for client meetings.
OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT
- Continuously review the case load of open opportunities for Private Wealth Advisors.
- Act as a project manager for open client opportunities, ensuring progress and adherence to processes.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the Operations Department and Private Wealth Advisors.
CLIENT SERVICE
- Follow up with internal teams and clients to execute planning or service items and gather additional information as requested by Private Wealth Advisors.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships through face-to-face, email, or phone interactions.
- Ensure all paperwork and documentation for client meetings are accurate and up to date.
TEAM DUTIES
Actively participate in team meetings to enhance team culture, productivity, and expertise. Maintain organized records of client information and planning documents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Ensure compliance in all actions within your role. Pursue continuing education (CE) for all active licenses and designations. Provide backup support for insurance service, new business, and financial planning as needed. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. 3+ years of experience in a financial institution. Ohio Life & Health License preferred or obtainable within 1 months of hire. SIE, Series 6/7 & Series 63 preferred or obtainable within 12 months of hire. Financial designations preferred; interest in continued education is acceptable. Solid knowledge of financial services with the ability to expand your expertise. Clear communication skills for explaining financial principles face-to-face, over the phone, or via email. Strong attention to financial detail. Professional office skills. Ability to take independent action and make sound decisions. Ability to multi-task effectively. Ability to work well with others.Growth Path:

Salary:
