YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build, maintain and own the pricing models and the pricing plan for the Corn States portfolio (corn, soy, cotton, wheat) to deliver the Y1 and Y2 commercial targets.
  • Translate volume, product mix and trait mix assumptions into a fully priced portfolio plan; run scenarios and pressure-test the numbers before the plan is locked.
  • Once the pricing plan is set, track and measure it through the season and deliver on the P&L, maintaining a running view of price realization versus plan.
  • Analyze in-season market data (forecasts, Order Bank, competitive offers and other reports) to identify trends, competitive positioning and deviations from commercial targets.
  • Draw clear insights from that data and build the storyline behind them; present and position the analysis to the customer-facing teams so it drives action.
  • Propose concrete plans to prevent or mitigate in-season deviations to the plan.
  • Support in modeling the impact of marketing programs, incentives and discount structures; and support their execution.
  • Support the Y1+Y2 production planning process with pricing and mix inputs.
  • Partner with the customer facing team (SAMs, TPRs) to ground assumptions in market reality and to land pricing guidance.
  • Maintain working knowledge of competitive trait offerings, list and net pricing, and share dynamics; keep data quality, documentation and process discipline across all pricing deliverables.
