Cincinnati, OH Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Research Full Job Description CBT Company is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Profit Optimization Department. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and understanding how pricing, products, customers, and vendors all come together to help win business. You don't necessarily need to come from a traditional pricing background. We're interested in candidates who bring strong analytical skills and pricing experience, as well as those who may have developed valuable commercial and product knowledge through sales, product management, procurement, sales operations, or a similar role. The scope of the position can grow with the experience and strengths of the person we hire. What You'll Do Analyze pricing, sales, margin, customer, product, and vendor data to identify trends and opportunities. Help develop pricing recommendations that balance competitiveness, customer needs, and profitability. Partner with Sales on competitive opportunities, customer pricing decisions, and strategic pricing needs. Work with Procurement and Product teams to evaluate vendor programs, cost changes, rebates, and special pricing opportunities. Support customer pricing programs such as agreements, exceptions, and special pricing agreements (SPAs). Analyze the impact of vendor price increases, tariffs, cost changes, and other market conditions. Research customer buying behavior, sales history, and competitive information to help inform pricing decisions. Develop and improve pricing tools, reports, dashboards, and other resources used by the team. Work across departments to help ensure approved pricing strategies are implemented accurately. Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, consistency, and overall effectiveness. This position may be located at our Cincinnati, Springboro, or Sidney office. What We're Looking For 2+ years of relevant business experience in areas such as pricing, analytics, product management, procurement, sales, or sales operations is required. Experience with industrial or technical products and an understanding of customers, vendors, and commercial pricing considerations is strongly preferred. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data. Analytical curiosity and the ability to turn information into practical business recommendations. Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail. Someone who enjoys working across teams, asking questions, solving problems, and learning how the business works. Prior experience with pricing systems, customer agreements, exceptions, or SPAs is a plus, but isn't required.
