Open untilFilled Position Summary/Purpose:
The purpose of this full-time (30 hours a week) position is to provide administrative and technical duties under the supervision of the Assessor in accordance with prevailing statutes, policies, and procedures. The incumbent collects and processes information to assist in the establishment of the Town's Grand List; maintains real estate, motor vehicle, and personal property records in a current and accurate condition, and provides administrative support to the office. The work involves attention to detail to maintain accurate records, update data systems, and answer customer inquiries. The Administrative Assessment Technician is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under his/her direction and control.Education, Training and Experience:
An Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Legal Studies, or a closely related field is highly preferred.Minimum requirements for consideration:
High School Diploma along with 3 years of related work experience in appraisal offices, legal offices, real estate office, or municipal assessment office; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Willing to train the right candidate. Education and growth opportunities.Special Requirements:
