Senior Property and Evidence Coordinator Tulane University - 4.0 New Orleans, LA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Driver's License Law enforcement Full Job Description The Property/Evidence Manager for Tulane Police Department is responsible for daily management, oversight and coordination of all activities associated with the collection, retention and disposition of police property and evidence in accordance with Departmental policy, Orleans Parish Ordinance and Louisiana State law and Federal law. Duties include responsibility for the purchase, receipt and storage of supplies, uniforms, equipment, and property; collecting, processing, controlling, securing and preserving the integrity of lost/abandoned property as well as all seized evidentiary property and materials. The position also provides training to police personnel on property and evidence policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma/Equivalent and four (4) years' relevant law enforcement experience. 21 years of age or older. Must have valid and unrestricted (not including corrective lens needs) U.S. Driver's License and must meeting Tulane University Motor Vehicle Policy criteria to become an authorized driver. Must obtain Property/Evidence certification within 12months of hire date.
Preferred Qualification:
Associates degree in criminal justice or closely related field. Law enforcement property/evidence management experience.
