Tax Credit Property Manager Summary We are seeking a dedicated Tax Credit Property Manager to oversee the operational and compliance aspects of affordable housing assets. This pivotal role ensures that all properties under management strictly adhere to Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) regulations while maintaining high standards of tenant services and asset performance. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between property operations, owners, and regulatory agencies, guaranteeing long-term compliance and financial stability for the portfolio. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of affordable housing communities with a specific focus on maintaining LIHTC compliance standards. Conduct regular audits and reviews of tenant income certifications, lease agreements, and occupancy records to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence. Prepare and submit required annual compliance reports and tax credit documentation to state and federal authorities. Coordinate with external auditors and housing agencies during periodic reviews and examinations. Oversee rent collection, utility billing, and budget management to ensure financial viability within affordable housing constraints.
