ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior Reviewer plays a key role in the quality control process for property condition assessment (PCA) reports. Inspectors gather field data, and you will perform the initial technical and editorial review of their reports before final review and submission to clients. Your work will be supervised and guided by a Professional Engineer (PE) and senior staff. The ideal candidate is one who understands building systems and/or multifamily property operations, and wants to apply that knowledge in a structured, analytical, and documentation-focused environment.•A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A JUNIOR REVIEWER
As a Junior Reviewer, your primary responsibility will be reviewing draft reports prepared by field inspectors for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.You will:
Review inspection reports for clarity, organization, and adherence to company standards Verify property condition observations, quantities, and supporting documentation Check that deficiencies, repairs, and replacement recommendations are properly described and supported Ensure alignment with internal templates, guidelines, and industry formats Perform basic validation of building systems descriptions (structural, mechanical, site, etc.) Edit reports for grammar, formatting, and consistency Coordinate with inspectors and project staff to resolve missing or unclear information Track revisions and maintain organized digital files and documentation Assist with quality control workflows, internal checklists, and process improvements When workload allows, you may also support: Data entry and report assembly Internal training and cross-functional project support Additional assignments based on project needs in a dynamic, project-driven environment•QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
1-3 years of experience in construction, building maintenance, facilities management, property management, physical inspections, or quality control. Basic understanding of building systems and components (roofing, HVAC, structure, interiors, site) Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, file management, and document editing Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a structured workflow Strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred:
Experience reviewing technical reports, construction documents, or inspection data Familiarity with property condition assessments (PCA) or similar reporting processes Exposure toASTM E2018-08
