• Manage property tax appeals across multiple Texas counties for commercial, residential, and agricultural properties, including occasional overnight travel for internal and client meetings.
• Analyze property tax assessments and appeal information, and prepare supporting evidence for valuation, agricultural, and other exemption denial protests.
• Research market data, comparable sales, and property information while maintaining accurate internal sales databases.
• Collaborate with county appraisal districts to negotiate property values and represent clients before Appraisal Review Boards as required.
• Prepare and manage arbitration cases through resolution when necessary.
• Assist clients and their attorneys with litigation involving appraisal districts, as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service through prompt, professional, and clear communication with current and prospective clients.
• Licensed Property Tax Consultant, General Certified Appraiser or Registered Professional Appraiser preferred.
• Prior experience as a Property Tax Consultant, Registered Professional Appraiser, or Licensed Fee Appraiser.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage ambiguity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
