Full-Time Field Appraiser Fayette County Assessor's Office - Fayetteville, WV The Fayette County Assessor's Office is seeking a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Field Appraiser . This position is responsible for conducting field inspections, verifying property information, and maintaining accurate real estate records. The successful candidate will help ensure property records are complete, current, and accurate by inspecting properties and documenting changes throughout Fayette County. Responsibilities Conduct field inspections of residential and commercial properties. Verify property characteristics, dimensions, and improvements. Measure and sketch buildings as needed. Identify and document new construction, additions, demolitions, and other property changes. Maintain accurate property records and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid West Virginia driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and on uneven terrain. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. On-the-job training will be provided.
