Job location:

2 to 5 miles from White Plains, NY. This position requires on-site presence Monday through Friday. A well-established international nutraceutical ingredients distributor is currently looking for QA / Regulatory Affairs Specialist who has 3+ years with FDA registration in a company. Some of the minimum qualification requirements: 3+ years of FDA registration in a company. Ideally, a candidate's FDA exp is in nutraceutical ingredients, and/or supplement raw materials. An ideal candidate has 5+ years of related work exp with FDA. A valid US driver's license, and able to commute to the office Monday through Friday. Able to use MS Excel and PowerPoint. Authorized to work in the US. Able to start in 2 weeks at the office if you pass your interviews and receive a job offer.

Some of the main responsibilities:

Maintain and renew the company's FDA Food Facility Registration. Manage and perform the renewal process for the company's Organic Certificate to maintain uninterrupted organic certification status. Obtain and manage

import permits required for the import of regulated materials. Review and provide QA/QC approval Perform shelf-life extension evaluations on specific lots based on retest and stability study data provided by the manufacturer. Maintain and update the annual recall plan throughout the year so the company can respond quickly if a recall is ever needed. Maintain general oversight and day-to-day use of the Intellect quality management system (QMS). Responsible for facility, equipment and environmental control. Manage customer complaints. Complete customer and vendor questionnaires related to quality and regulatory compliance.

Salary:
