LI-OnSite Responsibilities:
Position purpose: Seeking motivated person to join the Credit Risk team supporting our broker dealer operations. Credit Risk Analyst will be responsible for performing credit assessments and setting limits for a portfolio of Investment Advisors, Broker Dealers, Banks, Insurance companies and other financial institutions, and support the Credit Risk team in the development and implementation of reporting and system projects to guide risk decisions and drive efficiencies throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Perform annual reviews and ongoing surveillance of financial institutions. Establishes appropriate limits to allow financial trading, settlement and clearing. Monitor and manage credit exposures daily to ensure compliance within established limits. Build and sustain professional relationships with both internal and external customers. Ability to work and manage job responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Develop reporting tools necessary to support risk monitoring and improve department efficiencies. Understand and uphold any regulatory procedures and practices. Negotiate financial securities agreements including
MRA, GMRA, MSLA, MSFTA
Collaborate with the Risk & Legal teams to resolve collection issues. Provides monthly credit reporting to Risk Management Committee. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Maintain prompt and regular attendance. Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Business, Finance, Accounting or Mathematics preferred). 0-3 years of Credit or related financial experience. Financial statement or credit analysis experience, preferably in financial markets.
Exposure to financial institutions:
Registered Investment Advisors, Broker Dealers, Banks, Insurance companies, municipalities, or financial funds. Working knowledge of operations and settlement procedures for regulated financial institutions. Knowledge of financial institutions regulatory rules and procedures. Familiarity with network, database or AI technologies is desired. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Experience with credit risk management tools and techniques. Understanding of investment products. Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Work mode:
4 days in the office, 1 day at home.
