Job Summary:
Develop, implement and oversee the Risk Management Program to provide a safe environment and quality patient care using risk management principles including identifying, investigating, analyzing, and evaluating risk on a proactive basis. Maintain all regulatory and compliance requirements including Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).

Ability to prioritize, organize and carry out work assignments independently and efficiently Excellent verbal, written and presentation skill Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, leadership and external parties Knowledge of patient safety tools and processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong level of confidentiality due to the sensitivity of materials and information handled Computer literacy Experience with peer review processes and protections Experience with risk identification, risk assessment and risk mitigation Experience with claims management
Job Requirements:
Registered Nurse with current unencumbered New Mexico License. Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum of four (4) years' experience in a clinical care setting Risk Management, Quality Management or regulatory experience preferred
