For 135 years, it has contributed to the development of the country's transportation systems including the Interstate Highway System and a vast network of roads, bridges, airports, metros, and railways. Lane specializes in mobility, tunneling, and water resources to address sustainable development and climate change adaptation challenges. Description Maintains awareness of company activities to ascertain the nature and extent of potential loss. Periodically reviews company financial reports and other significant operating material. Advises on risk management aspects of new projects and acquisitions. Maintains communications with operating and staff departments to advise on insurance and loss prevention measures, administration techniques, and also to develop information on risks. Review bid specifications on major projects and provides proper insurance and tax information. Evaluates the suitability of captive insurance companies, cash flow plans, deductible programs and other alternative risk transfer and funding mechanisms. Performs annual analysis of loss reserve funding. Performs annual retrospective premium adjustments for our cash flow programs. Maintains continuing record of property values, inspection reports, etc. Develops and maintain a risk management manual. Assists other departments in the budget and planning process. Assists with premium and cost allocations. Manages employees by mentoring, coaching, providing feedback and assessing performance. Performs other duties as assigned. Education Bachelor's Degree Certifications
