Position Summary The Risk Management Specialist provides administrative, operational, and reporting support for the organization's Risk Management function. This role is responsible for coordinating business meetings, maintaining records and documentation, preparing reports and correspondence, managing calendars and schedules, supporting departmental workflows, and administering risk related processes and tools. The position serves as a key resource for ensuring information, records, reports, and activities are organized, accurate, and completed in a timely manner. Reporting through the Finance and Strategy Center of Excellence, the Risk Management Specialist supports the execution of the organization's enterprise risk management program by partnering with relevant Centers of Excellence and other internal business partners. The role coordinates meetings and departmental communications, prepares reports and presentations, maintains risk management documentation and records, assists with data collection and analysis, tracks action items and organizational initiatives, supports regulatory and audit-related activities, and helps ensure risk management processes are administered consistently and effectively. Serving as a trusted administrative and operational partner, this role contributes to the effectiveness of the Risk Management function by promoting organization, accuracy, and process consistency. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, collaboration, adaptability, technical proficiency, and sound judgment while providing reliable support that helps strengthen risk management practices and supports informed business decision-making across the organization. Knowledge Requirements Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and prepare accurate reports and summaries. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation, reporting, and administrative activities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage complex information and solve problems using sound judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, databases, reporting tools, and business software. Working knowledge of document management, data management, and reporting processes. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across the organization. Knowledge of administrative processes, business operations, and office systems. Demonstrated ability to optimize work processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information. Strong technology aptitude with the ability to learn and utilize new systems and tools effectively. Education and Experience Associate degree in Business, Risk Management, Analytics, or a related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Typically 1 to 3 years of experience in administrative support, operations, risk management, business support, analytics, or a related function. Experience preparing reports, managing records, and supporting business operations preferred. Work Environment & Physical Effort Required Normal
