Senior We are seeking an experienced Director of Risk Management to lead healthcare risk management, patient safety, and risk mitigation initiatives for a healthcare organization in Las Cruces, New Mexico . Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the organization's Risk Management program. Identify, assess, and mitigate clinical and operational risks. Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and initiatives. Partner with clinical and administrative leadership to improve patient safety and quality outcomes. Investigate incidents, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Support regulatory compliance and risk-reduction efforts across the organization. Collaborate with leadership, physicians, nursing teams, and other departments on risk-related matters. Monitor risk trends and develop strategies to reduce organizational exposure. Requirements Active New Mexico RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program required. 5+ years of nursing experience , including 3+ years in a Director or Manager-level role. Previous Healthcare Risk Management experience required. CPHRM certification preferred upon hire and required within 3 years of employment. Strong knowledge of healthcare quality, patient safety, compliance, and risk management. Prior acute-care healthcare risk management experience preferred. Previous Director-level experience preferred. Experience in a for-profit hospital strongly preferred. Must be able to work on-site in Las Cruces, NM . Compensation $120,000 - $150,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications.
