Trainee Equity Trader / Associate Trader About the Role AArnisha Investments Ltd is seeking a highly analytical, disciplined, and motivated individual to join us as a Trainee Equity Trader / Associate Trader . This position is designed for someone who is genuinely interested in financial markets and wants to develop practical trading skills in a structured environment. The selected candidate will initially undergo approximately two months of hands-on training , learning our trading methodology, market-monitoring process, risk-management framework, trade-entry and exit rules, portfolio-management approach, and reporting requirements. During the training period, the candidate will work closely with senior management, learn the trading rules and processes used by the firm, monitor markets and securities, identify situations meeting defined trading criteria, and gradually participate in trade execution under supervision. Candidates who demonstrate strong analytical ability, discipline, reliability, risk awareness, execution accuracy, and consistent performance may be offered a full-time Associate Trader position following the training period. What You Will Do You will: Learn and understand the firm's defined trading methodology, rules, indicators, entry criteria, exit criteria, and risk-management framework. Monitor assigned stocks, ETFs, indexes, and other approved market instruments during trading hours. Analyze price action, market trends, technical indicators, volatility, volume, and other relevant market information. Identify trading opportunities that satisfy predefined trading conditions. Execute trades accurately according to authorized trading instructions and established rules. Closely monitor open positions throughout the trading session. Follow defined entry, exit, stop-loss, position-size, and risk-management requirements. Never exceed established trading or risk limits without authorization. Maintain accurate records of trades, including entries, exits, position sizes, rationale, results, and observations. Track portfolio performance and individual trade performance. Prepare a clear daily trading report summarizing trades executed, open positions, realized and unrealized P&L, observations, exceptions, and relevant market activity. Review successful and unsuccessful trades to identify patterns and opportunities for process improvement. Communicate important market developments and unusual price or volatility activity promptly. Use trading platforms, charting systems, spreadsheets, and analytical tools efficiently. Develop increasing responsibility for portfolio monitoring and execution as experience and performance improve. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the firm's trading strategies, processes, data, accounts, and intellectual property. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Highly analytical You should enjoy working with numbers, charts, patterns, probabilities, and data. Extremely disciplined Our trading process is rule-based. The ability to follow established rules consistently is more important than making impulsive or speculative decisions. Risk conscious You must understand that protecting capital and managing downside risk are fundamental parts of trading. Detail oriented Trade execution requires accuracy. Small mistakes involving price, quantity, order type, or direction can have significant consequences. Quick to learn You should be able to understand trading concepts, systems, technical indicators, and market behavior rapidly. Comfortable making decisions in a fast-moving environment Markets can move quickly, and the candidate must remain calm, attentive, and methodical. Accountable We expect candidates to take responsibility for their actions, maintain accurate records, and immediately communicate errors or unusual events. Curious about financial markets You should have a genuine interest in learning how markets behave rather than viewing trading simply as a way to make quick money. Education A bachelor's degree is preferred. We welcome candidates from a variety of academic backgrounds, including but not limited to: Finance Economics Business Mathematics Statistics Computer Science Engineering Data Science Other analytical or technical disciplines A finance degree is not required. Candidates from technology, engineering, mathematics, or other quantitative backgrounds who demonstrate strong analytical ability and genuine interest in financial markets are encouraged to apply. Recent graduates and candidates transitioning into financial markets may also be considered. Preferred Skills Experience or familiarity with any of the following is beneficial but not mandatory: Equity markets Technical analysis Stocks and ETFs Options and derivatives TradingView or similar charting platforms Brokerage/trading platforms Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets Data analysis Market research Portfolio analysis Risk management Trade journaling and performance analysis Advanced Excel, programming, or data-analysis skills are a plus. Trading Experience Previous professional trading experience is not required . We are willing to train the right candidate. More important than previous trading experience are: Analytical ability Discipline Ability to learn Accuracy Risk awareness Reliability Ability to follow instructions Comfort with technology Strong written and verbal communication Candidates with personal trading experience are welcome to apply, but they must be willing to learn and operate according to the firm's trading framework rather than relying solely on their existing trading style.
