Tax Administrator / Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Administrator / Analyst to support key accounting and tax activities for a Contract position based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This role focuses on tax administration, reconciliations, and core accounting operations across billing, payables, and receivables while ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills and hands-on experience working with property, sales, state, local, and multi-state tax processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage tax administration activities related to property, sales, state, local, and multi-state obligations while maintaining accurate records and supporting timely filings.
  • Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies, resolve variances, and improve the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows by reviewing transactions, verifying tax treatment, and coordinating issue resolution.
  • Oversee billing-related accounting tasks to help ensure invoices, tax charges, and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Analyze financial data and accounting entries to confirm compliance with applicable tax rules and internal controls.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to respond to tax-related questions, provide documentation, and assist with audits or reporting requests.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules, reconciliations, and supporting reports that contribute to month-end and periodic accounting activities.
