This individual will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting tax planning initiatives, conducting tax research, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical tax foundation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple engagements while working closely with managers and partners. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, trust, estate, and gift tax returns. Assist with tax planning strategies for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business clients. Research federal, state, and local tax issues and communicate findings to clients and internal stakeholders. Identify potential tax-saving opportunities and assist in implementing client-focused solutions. Prepare responses to federal and state tax notices and inquiries. Work directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide exceptional service. Collaborate with attorneys, financial advisors, and other professional service providers as needed. Manage multiple engagements and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Review work prepared by junior staff and provide training, guidance, and mentorship. Stay current on tax law changes, regulatory developments, and industry trends. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA preferred. 3+ years of public accounting tax experience. Experience preparing and reviewing complex individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns. Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations. Proficiency with tax software, accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional growth.
