We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Tax / Accounting Associate to join our collaborative team.This role offers an exceptional foundation in public accounting. You will work directly alongside seasoned professionals and partners with decades of collective experience, gaining hands-on exposure to diverse industries, complex tax planning, business valuations, and compliance workflows.
Key ResponsibilitiesTax Preparation:
Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporate entities.Financial Analysis:
Review and organize client source documents, ensuring accurate data entry into tax accounting software.Research & Compliance:
Conduct fundamental tax law research to support proactive tax planning initiatives and assist in drafting responses to IRS or state tax authority notices.General Accounting Support:
Support client engagements with sales tax, payroll reporting, and tailored bookkeeping system implementation.Client & Team Collaboration:
Maintain highly organized digital and physical workpapers while actively participating in team strategy meetings.Job Requirements & QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.CPA Track:
Intention or active pursuit of the CPA designation is highly desirable.Technical Skills:
Proficiency with MS Excel and foundational familiarity with accounting software e.g., QuickBooks is a strong plus.Skills:
Excellent communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, sharp problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.Work Schedule:
This is a 100% on-site role out of our Vineland office, operating standard business hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM with manageable increases during peak tax seasons.Allocation, Growth & BenefitsSalary Range:
$50,000 to $90,000 annually Base pay scaled competitively to the Vineland, NJ market for entry-level accounting roles, commensurate with experience and CPA progression.Growth Opportunities:
