Tax Specialist Brighton Securities - 4.3 Williamsville, NY Job Details Part-time $28 - $35 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Research Full Job Description Bring Your Tax Expertise to a Different Kind of Firm Brighton Securities is looking for an experienced Part-Time Tax Specialist to join our growing Tax Department. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced tax professional who wants to continue doing meaningful client work in a flexible, part-time role —without the responsibility of managing a team or building a book of business. As part of our integrated tax and wealth management model, you'll work directly with clients and collaborate with Financial Advisors to provide thoughtful, coordinated tax support. You'll have the independence to apply your expertise while being supported by an experienced team.
What You'll Do:
Prepare individual and business federal, state, and local tax returns. Work directly with clients throughout the tax preparation process. Partner with Financial Advisors on client tax needs and planning opportunities. Assist with tax projections, estimated payments, notices, and tax research. Support new tax client onboarding and review prior-year tax information. Manage assigned returns and deadlines with support from the Tax Department. Assist with business tax and related accounting needs as appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred; candidates pursuing their EA may also be considered. 2+ years of individual and/or business tax preparation experience. Ability to prepare returns independently and identify issues requiring additional review. Strong client service, communication, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Why Brighton Securities?
