Senior Tax Associate:
Prepare and file state and local sales and use tax returns, including compilation and analysis of financial data Performing a detailed technical review of state and local indirect tax returns Maintain and update sales tax return worksheets and procedures Assisting with drafting new proposals for new and existing clients. Respond to sales tax inquiries raised by internal customers and taxing jurisdictions Register, renew and cancel state, county, city and local sales tax permits Develop and maintain sales tax knowledge relating to laws and regulations in assigned states Identify process improvements and cost savings opportunities Assist with training of new team members Job Requirements of the
Senior Tax Associate:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or related field CPA Certification, additional specialty certifications a plus 2+ years of proven experience in a Senior Tax Associate role Ability to utilize firm technology Strong multi-tasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Passion and desire to be in public accounting and ability to look at the full picture of clients' needs Some travel may be required Compensation and Benefit package for
