This role works with a steady, pre-qualified caseload from our intake and case management teams. You can focus on representation and resolution work without having to bring in your own clients. Position Overview The Enrolled Agent is responsible for representing clients with IRS and state tax issues and seeing each case through to final resolution. This role works closely with our team to make sure clients get accurate guidance, timely submissions, and effective advocacy. This position is ideal for a licensed Enrolled Agent with hands-on tax resolution experience who is comfortable working directly with IRS Revenue Officers, the Automated Collection System (ACS), and IRS Appeals. Key Responsibilities Represent clients before the IRS and state taxing authorities under Form 2848 (Power of Attorney) Analyze account and wage & income transcripts to assess balances, collection statute expiration dates (CSEDs), compliance status, and enforcement risk Carry out resolution strategies, including installment agreements, offers in compromise, currently not collectible status, penalty abatement, and innocent spouse relief Prepare and submit collection information statements (Forms 433-A, 433-F, 433-B) and Offer in Compromise packages (Form 656) Respond to IRS notices, levies, and liens, and request levy releases and lien withdrawals when appropriate File Collection Due Process and Equivalent Hearing requests (Form 12153) and handle IRS Appeals Negotiate directly with Revenue Officers, ACS, and IRS Appeals officers Keep case notes accurate and communicate case status clearly to clients and internal teams Comply with Circular 230 and all firm confidentiality and ethics standards Qualifications Active Enrolled Agent license in good standing (required) 2+ years of tax resolution or IRS representation experience (required) Strong working knowledge of IRS collection procedures, the Internal Revenue Manual, and resolution strategies Experience with tax resolution software (e.g., Pitbull Tax, IRS Logics) and IRS e-Services preferred Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills A high level of professionalism, integrity, and client service

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
