Job Description

Responsible for collection activities with regard to consumer loans, visa credit card accounts and overdrawn deposit accounts. Works in person and on the phone with account holders as well as attorneys and other outside collection agencies. Prepares paperwork for delivery to the Attorney for legal action. Files bankruptcy claims with the bankruptcy court and attends bankruptcy hearings. Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for the board. Maintains consumer collection files in an orderly fashion. Must have dependable transportation for some outside collection activity. Also, assist the loan department with back office duties as needed. Salary is dependent on experience.
