Job Description
An employee in this class, under general direction, performs professional accounting duties of substantial difficulty and assumes responsibility for the accounting and bookkeeping functions within HealthWest. An Administrative Analyst assumes responsibility for the supervision and training of lower-level professional and/or support personnel; participates in a variety of professional accounting functions relating to the development and improvement of accounting system practices and procedures, assists in the preparation of and monitors the annual agency budget, prepares various financial and technical reports, and performs related duties as required. 1. Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; AND have a minimum of one (1) year full-time work experience in the field of accounting, financial, budgetary, economic analysis or related field, which includes considerable use of computer spreadsheet applications. OR Possess an associate's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Accounting, Business Administration or related field; AND have a minimum of three (3) years full-time experience in the field of accounting, financial, budgetary, economic analysis or related field, which includes considerable use of computer spreadsheet applications. 2. Must have reliable transportation that may have to be used to carry out job duties of this classification. Preferred but not Required 1. Bilingual candidates highly desired. 2. Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued. 3. Individuals in Recovery and individuals with experience in Armed Services valued.
