Under the general supervision of an Administrator I, the incumbent performs as a lead person on a team striving to continually improve quality, accountability and customer satisfaction by providing support to the PIT Collection Contact Center. Technical expertise is at the advanced journeyperson level where the incumbent provides technical assistance to employees at the Compliance Representative level. Incumbent performs complex compliance activities related to collections, quality assurance and statistical reporting. The incumbent is also responsible for having an understanding of the Revenue and Taxation Code, administrative regulations, policies and procedures to ensure departmental compliance with tax laws, to maximize collection of revenue and provide customer service to internal and external customers. Finally, the incumbent participates as a team member with peers and others to identify, research, and resolve work-related issues consistent with the Department's Mission and Values.
