Job Description

SAAB is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning for its U.S. manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee federal, state, and local income tax filings, manage ASC 740 tax provisions, and support transfer pricing and cross-border transactions. You will analyze tax impacts of business initiatives, drive process improvements, and ensure audit-ready documentation. Partnering with Finance and Operations, you'll advise leadership on tax risk, credits, and incentives, helping optimize Saab's tax position while supporting its mission-driven, high-tech global growth. Responsibilities Lead preparation and review of U. S. federal, state, and local corporate income tax returns for Saab's U. S. entities. Own quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision, including reconciliations, supporting schedules, and external audit support. Analyze tax implications of manufacturing, supply chain, and cross-border transactions; recommend tax-efficient structures. Identify and manage tax credits and incentives relevant to manufacturing and R D activities. Maintain strong tax controls, documentation, and processes to ensure compliance and audit readiness. Monitor changes in tax legislation affecting defense and manufacturing; translate into policy and process updates. Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations to support business planning, budgeting, and strategic projects from a tax perspective. Coordinate with external advisors and tax authorities on audits, inquiries, and complex technical positions.
