Responsibilities Lead indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax returns. Oversee indirect tax audits and resolve related issues. Advise on the tax treatment of bids, purchases, billings, contracts, and exemptions. Partner with accounting and operating teams on tax matters. Monitor tax law changes, improve processes, and support the tax integration of acquired businesses. Qualifications 15+ years of indirect tax experience, including substantial U.S. sales and use tax experience. Experience applying sales and use tax rules to construction operations. Leadership experience at the Senior Manager or Director level with compliance, audits, and taxability matters. Strong communication skills across tax, finance, and operating teams. Ability to work in Carmel, Indiana, or Miami, Florida. Miami-based hires must travel to Carmel for at least one week per month.
