Location:
South Fargo, ND. This is a fully on-site leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with their team and clients. Relocation assistance is not available.
Note:
Candidates must have 4+ years of progressive payroll experience, including payroll management or team leadership, along with strong multistate or multijurisdiction payroll knowledge. Job Description Lead end to end payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. Manage, mentor, and develop payroll team members while setting clear performance and service standards. Oversee payroll processing across multiple entities, states, and regulatory jurisdictions. Review payroll runs, validate data, and resolve complex payroll issues involving taxes, garnishments, deductions, and adjustments. Maintain strong payroll controls, documentation, reporting, and system administration. Partner directly with clients and internal teams to provide knowledgeable payroll guidance and resolve issues. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and improve payroll technology and processes. Stay current on payroll laws, tax requirements, and regulatory changes affecting payroll operations. Qualifications 4+ years of progressive payroll experience. Payroll management, supervisory, or team leadership experience. Strong end to end payroll administration and payroll operations knowledge. Experience with multistate or multijurisdiction payroll, payroll taxes, compliance, and complex deductions. Experience with payroll systems and related accounting or HR technology. Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
