Job Description

We are looking for a Shared Financial Services & Tax Manager to guide a broad range of accounting and tax activities for the organization and its affiliated entities in Middlesex County, New Jersey. This role will shape financial operations, strengthen compliance practices, and support accurate reporting across shared service functions. The position works closely with finance leaders, operational teams, technology partners, member organizations, and external advisors to improve efficiency, maintain regulatory alignment, and deliver dependable financial oversight.

Shared Financial Services & Tax Manager We are seeking an experienced Shared Financial Services & Tax Manager to lead corporate and member tax compliance activities while overseeing key accounting and shared services functions. This role will serve as the primary leader for tax strategy, compliance, audits, and reporting, while partnering with executive leadership to drive financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and process improvements.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead sales & use tax, property tax, ASC 740 tax provision, 263A, and 1099 reporting activities.

Oversee tax audits, compliance initiatives, and relationships with external tax advisors.

Monitor tax law changes and assess business impacts.

Ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Drive process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

Present tax and financial insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.

QualificationsCPA highly preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting.10+ years of progressive tax, accounting, or finance experience.5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or tax professionals.

Strong knowledge of corporate taxation, tax compliance, financial reporting, and GAAP.Experience with Oracle, SAP, and/or large ERP environments preferred.
Compensation & Benefits:
$140,000•$160,000 base salary plus bonus.
