Which makes this Senior Manager hire quite an important one. This isn't about adding another person into an already crowded management team. The firm is thinking about what it looks like over the next few years and who could become part of that. They've been in Columbus for more than 80 years, so there's a lot worth taking over. The client base is particularly strong across real estate, construction and family offices, with some much larger clients than you'd probably associate with a firm of this size. They're actually saying no to new work at the moment because the existing team has enough on its plate. Probably a good problem for a firm to have. Not such a good one if they don't hire. That's where you come in. You'll take on established client relationships, review work and be a senior point of contact within the firm. There's some compilation and review work alongside tax too, so someone who's spent their career in public accounting and enjoys having a bit of variety will probably feel at home here. Longer term, Partnership is very much on the table. It doesn't need to be the reason you apply, and nobody is expecting you to arrive with your five year plan printed out.
