Senior Tax Manager •Real Estate Experience Required• Nashville, TN 37215 /
Hybrid Salary Range:
$150,000 – $170,000 Public Accounting / CPA Firm About the Opportunity – Senior Tax Manager We are partnering with a growing and highly respected public accounting firm to identify an experienced Senior Tax Manager with deep expertise in real estate taxation. This leadership role offers a flexible hybrid schedule, strong work-life balance, and a clear path for continued career advancement, including partnership-track potential. Key Responsibilities – Senior Tax Manager Review complex tax returns, including S-Corporations (1120S) and Partnerships (1065) Provide technical guidance related to real estate partnerships, 1031 exchanges, entity structuring, and tax planning strategies Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on complex tax matters and business planning initiatives Research and analyze technical tax issues and communicate practical recommendations Mentor, coach, and develop managers and staff within a collaborative tax department Participate in department leadership initiatives, succession planning, and process improvements Support strategic client relationships and high-level tax advisory engagements Collaborate with firm leadership to drive growth and maintain technical excellence Qualifications – Senior Tax Manager CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation required 10+ years of public accounting experience Extensive experience with partnership and S-Corporation taxation Strong knowledge of real estate partnerships and 1031 exchanges Experience reviewing complex tax returns and managing client relationships Proven leadership experience mentoring and developing tax professionals Strong technical research, planning, and problem-solving skills Estate, trust, and exit-planning experience preferred Excellent communication and client advisory skills Additional Benefits & Perks Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the office Core working hours of 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM 401(k) with employer match Comprehensive health benefits 4+ weeks of PTO plus sick leave and paid holidays Reduced summer schedule with 36-hour workweeks during June and July Paid parental leave, adoption assistance, and fertility benefits Continuing education support and professional certification bonuses Volunteer time off, employee assistance programs, and social events Partnership-track potential for the right candidate EB-1234234215
