- $150,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee tax compliance processes for various entities, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize organizational efficiency and minimize liabilities.
- Review and prepare annual income tax provisions while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct audits and provide detailed analysis to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
- Utilize accounting software systems, such as CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx, to streamline tax-related operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to handle entity formation and registration processes.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal tax laws, including sales tax compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices in tax management.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and implement necessary adjustments to processes.
- Support financial reporting by integrating tax data with broader accounting functions.
Requirements Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in tax management within a public or investment advisory setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software systems, including CaseWare and CCH ProSystem Fx.
- Strong knowledge of sales tax, income tax provisions, and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with entity formation and registration processes.
- Expertise in auditing and financial analysis.
- Ability to monitor and adapt to changes in tax legislation.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
