In this Fort Worth role, that's where you'll spend your time, with a 20% bonus on top of your base. Advisory work here isn't saved for Partners. You'll be in the conversation early, helping clients plan their next move while you stay technically sharp. It's more interesting work, it's better paid, and clients will call you by name. I'm recruiting for an independent CPA firm in Fort Worth, TX. They want a Tax Manager who'd like to build a broader role across client relationships, planning, consulting and leadership. What changes for you Client contact all year, about future decisions, business changes and planning ahead, not only when a return is due Consulting projects alongside firm leadership, so you see how the firm thinks and makes decisions Time to build the judgment, relationships and commercial sense that matter more the further you go Hybrid flexibility, with the trust to manage your own clients and workload A 20% bonus on top of a $130,000 to $160,000 base What you'll be doing Managing and reviewing tax work for individuals and privately owned businesses Being the key contact for your clients throughout the year Giving proactive tax planning and practical advice alongside the compliance work Contributing to consulting projects and client strategy conversations with leadership Reviewing work from staff accountants and helping them grow technically and in front of clients Spotting where extra planning or advice could make a real difference for a client Who could fit Senior, Supervisor or Manager level experience in public accounting A strong technical grounding in tax Confidence dealing directly with clients CPA or EA (required) Curiosity about the thinking behind the work, not just getting it through the process Already carrying Manager level responsibility?
