Job Description
Most accounting firms make partnership promises like politicians make campaign pledges. This one has an established client base, no business development torture, and a succession plan more solid than a German engineering manual. The Partner is 63. He's not looking at finishing just yet, but he wants a succession plan in place. You'll run tax compliance and planning for construction and real estate clients. While others are grinding 80-hour weeks for "potential equity," you could own actual equity in a profitable firm that caps busy season at 55 hours. It's almost as if treating people like humans makes better business sense. Who would have thought? . This 63-year-old won't be signing 1040's forever. Here's the part most people get wrong: you don't need to tick every box to introduce yourself. The apply button is not legally binding. Worst case? We chat, decide the timing isn't right, and you carry on. Best case? You bag yourself a fantastic new position. Prefer the human touch? Splendid. Ring me up. I'm at 646-540-9647. Sometimes Indeed hides my number. If they're sneaky like that, you'll find my details on LinkedIn. I'm Arran Jaiswal at Distinct North America. Also, I get it can be hard to talk with the fear of your Managing Partner walking past your office. I'm around early (6am EST) and after-hours too.
