Job Description
A growing company is seeking a Tax Manager to serve as its primary internal tax resource. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this role will oversee corporate and partnership tax compliance, manage outside tax advisors, and lead the ASC 740 income tax provision process. Responsibilities include reviewing federal and state tax filings, coordinating compliance deadlines and payments, managing tax provision calculations and reconciliations, evaluating state nexus and apportionment, supporting SOX controls, and overseeing sales and use tax, property tax, and related compliance matters. Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax, four to seven years of relevant experience, and knowledge of ASC 740 and corporate or partnership taxation. Public accounting experience and a CPA or progress toward certification are preferred.
