Location:
This is a full-time, in-office opportunity based in Pleasant Grove, Utah, offering close collaboration with leadership, clients, and fellow professionals.
Note:
Candidates should have 3+ years of public accounting tax experience, meaningful experience reviewing business and individual tax returns, and either an active CPA license or substantial progress toward obtaining one with a clear path to completion. Job Description Manage multiple tax engagements from planning through completion. Review federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, individuals, and other pass-through entities. Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to clients. Research complex tax issues and communicate practical solutions. Consult with clients regarding business, tax, and financial matters. Supervise, mentor, train, and review the work of staff accountants. Manage engagement budgets, staffing, and deadlines while maintaining high-quality client service. Review estimated tax calculations and multistate tax filings. Assist with business transactions, entity structuring, mergers, acquisitions, and other consulting engagements. Stay current on changing tax laws and industry developments. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or closely related field. Active CPA license or substantial progress toward licensure. 3+ years of public accounting tax experience. Experience reviewing partnership, S corporation, C corporation, and individual tax returns. Experience managing multiple client engagements. Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff. Strong client communication and relationship-building skills. Experience with tax planning and consulting. Ability to work full-time in the Pleasant Grove, Utah office. Experience with high-net-worth clients, multistate taxation, ASC 740, business transactions, or Big 4 experience is a plus. $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
