Problem-solving QuickBooks Enrolled Agent Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Review financial records, such as income statements and balance sheets, to ensure accuracy
- Utilize technical accounting knowledge to identify potential deductions and credits
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer tax-related questions
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Use accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Firm360 and UltraTax, to input and analyze financial data
- Correspond with IRS to handle tax notices and resolve tax issues.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or issues they may have
Skills:
- Strong technical accounting skills with a focus on tax preparation
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks and UltraTax
- Ability to analyze financial records and identify potential deductions and credits
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns
