seasonal This is a seasonal (January - April 2027), part-time position running through the core of tax season. You'll prepare and review tax returns for individual and small business clients, working closely with our team to ensure accuracy and a smooth client experience.



As a small practice, responsibilities may shift based on workload and your strengths, and there's room to take on more as the season progresses.



What You'll DoPrepare individual (1040) and small business (1065, 1120-S, 1120) tax returns for reviewGather, organize, and review supporting documentation from clientsIdentify missing information or discrepancies and communicate with clients or your supervisor to resolve themUse ProConnect and TaxDome to manage client files and workflowApply current-year tax law changes to client situations under supervisionSupport quality control review of prepared returnsMaintain strict confidentiality of client financial informationFlag complex or unclear situations to your supervisor rather than guessingWho We're Looking For1-2 years of prior experience preparing individual and/or business tax returnsWorking knowledge of federal and state tax rules relevant to individual and small business filersComfortable working independently in a remote setting while staying communicativeDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple client files during a fast-paced seasonFamiliarity with professional tax software (experience with our specific software is a plus, not required)Reliable and responsive during peak season deadlinesCPA or EA credential a plus, but not required recblid swhdpt20uuxb9frd5fcud8qfwgal8f
