Seasonal Tax Preparer Balanced Bookkeeping & Tax Services Lincoln, NE Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Seasonal | Full-time 18 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Customer service Compliance monitoring Attention to detail Tax preparation software Full Job Description Balanced Bookkeeping & Tax Services is looking for an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season, approximately late January through April . We are a small, experienced team that values quality work, taking good care of our clients, and maintaining a friendly and supportive work environment. Our current full-time staff of six has many years of experience, and we are looking for someone who will be a good fit with our team during our busiest time of year. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone with 6-10+ years of tax preparation experience who is comfortable preparing returns independently and working directly with clients as needed. An Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA is preferred , but not required. We are happy to consider an experienced tax preparer with a strong tax background and the ability to work independently.
Experience should include:
Individual income tax returns (Form 1040) Schedule C- Business Income Schedule E
- Rental and Pass-Through Income Schedule F
- Farm Income Additional experience with the following would be preferred, but is not required: Form 1065
- Partnerships Form 1120-S
- S Corporations Form 1120
- Corporations Form 1041
- Estates and Trusts The right person will also have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and experience meeting or communicating directly with tax clients.
