Straight Tax is a Long Island tax preparation firm serving individuals and small businesses in English and Spanish since 2014. No experience needed. We train you through our tax school, with sessions running October through December. Job Duties Complete one tax school session between

October and December:

individual tax law, due diligence, client interviews and CrossLink software Prepare individual federal and New York State returns under supervision Interview clients and collect and verify their documents Upload client documents and make follow-up calls when not working on a return Answer client calls and book appointments Promote our services and encourage client referrals and repeat business Requirements Bilingual English and Spanish Available for one training session between October and December, then through April 15, including evenings and Saturdays Reliable transportation to Lindenhurst or Wyandanch Customer service or sales experience Strong attention to detail Must obtain a PTIN and New York State tax preparer registration before January. We guide you through both Locations Positions open at both offices. Placement is based on your availability and location preference.

Lindenhurst:

192 W Sunrise Hwy, Lindenhurst, NY 11757. $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Tax season office hours Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00

PM Wyandanch:

8 Station Drive, Wyandanch, NY 11798. $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. Tax season office hours Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pay and Schedule $18.00 to $20.00 per hour at either location. Training is paid Positions after training are offered based on training performance Rate review at 30 days End of season bonus for working through April 15. Terms in offer letter Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours over 40 Tax school: several paid sessions October through December. Full time and part time available.
