In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting tax reporting, compliance, and accounting processes for a diverse client base. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise in tax law, financial concepts, and accounting software while gaining hands-on experience in public accounting and regulatory compliance. Duties Assist in preparing individual, corporate, and estate tax returns with precision and adherence to tax law regulations Support the review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis Perform double entry bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Quickbooks or similar platforms Help with financial report writing, interpretation of financial statements, and analysis of financial data for clients Contribute to tax reporting activities by ensuring accurate documentation of debits & credits, tax compliance, and tax law adherence Collaborate with team members on mergers & acquisitions projects, asset management tasks, and other financial services engagements Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles including GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting standards Experience with tax preparation, tax law, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance accounting Knowledge of estate planning, wills, trusts & estate law is a plus Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks or comparable tools; familiarity with financial software from Thompson Reuters is preferred Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation, account analysis, and financial statement interpretation Effective client communication skills to explain complex financial concepts clearly and professionally Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment join us to grow your career in a vibrant setting where your expertise in financial concepts, tax experience, and regulatory compliance will be valued.
