Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team. This role is essential during the tax season, providing expert assistance to clients in preparing and filing their tax returns. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial concepts, and experience with various Drake software. If you have a passion for numbers and customer service, this position is perfect for you. Responsibilities Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns accurately and efficiently. Analyze financial documents to ensure compliance with tax regulations. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their tax situations. Use Drake software in preparing returns Assist clients in understanding financial concepts related to their tax obligations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice. Collaborate with team members to enhance marketing strategies for attracting new clients. Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements and reports for accuracy. Requirements Proven experience in tax preparation or public accounting is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of financial concepts, accounting principles, and tax regulations. Proficiency in Drake software Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to clients. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building client relationships. Familiarity with corporate accounting practices is a plus. Proficient in math skills, including 10 key typing for data entry tasks. Previous experience in financial sales or marketing is advantageous but not required. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive information.
