This role aligns with a Deposit & Payment Risk Specialist II or III level, depending on experience, and is ideal for a banking professional with a strong background in financial institution operations, fraud prevention, deposit risk, and client service. This is a high-impact opportunity to help protect clients and the Bank from financial fraud, operational risk, and emerging payment threats. You will work with a collaborative Deposit & Payment Risk team that values sound judgment, thoughtful problem-solving, and proactive communication. Key Responsibilities Monitor, analyze, and mitigate risks related to check processing, ACH, wire transfers, online banking, mobile deposits, remote deposit capture, and other electronic banking services. Investigate suspected and confirmed fraudulent activity, identify transaction patterns, document findings, and recommend appropriate risk-mitigation actions. Use fraud prevention and risk-management systems to detect losses, support investigations, and identify emerging fraud trends. Partner with clients, branches, and internal teams to resolve escalated situations, support security protocols, and deliver responsive service. Prepare complex SAR referrals, loss documentation, and supporting information in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory expectations. Provide backup support across back-office banking functions, including ACH, wires, mobile deposit, online banking, and remote deposit capture.
Compensation and Benefits Pay range:
$23.00 to $35.00 per hour.

Fully on-site in Roseville, CA. Specialist III team members participate in at least 10 hours of CRA volunteer service annually, typically scheduled during business hours and compensable, with mileage reimbursed.
