The District Credit Union is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Floating Teller to support members at both our Chambers and Hampden branches. As a Teller, you'll do more than process transactions. You'll get to know our members, help with their everyday financial needs, and identify opportunities to connect them with Credit Union products and services that may help them reach their goals. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with cash and numbers, and wants to build a career in financial services. What You'll Do Provide friendly, personalized service and create a positive member experience Work between our Chambers and Hampden branches based on business needs Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other routine transactions Accurately handle and balance cash and other negotiable items Listen to members, identify their needs, and refer them to appropriate Credit Union products and services Educate members about checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, certificates, digital banking, and other services Partner with FSRs and other team members when members need additional assistance Follow cash-handling, security, privacy, and operational procedures Protect confidential member information What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, outgoing, and enjoys helping people Comfortable starting conversations and asking questions Confident making appropriate product referrals Accurate and comfortable working with cash and numbers Dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working at two locations A strong communicator and team player Comfortable learning new technology and financial productsRequirements:
High school diploma or GED Up to 1 year of banking, retail, cash handling, financial services, or customer service experience preferred Previous sales, referral, or cash-handling experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person Reliable transportation to work at both locations Great Service.
