Job Description

Position Summary:
Provides, prompt, efficient and courteous service to members while assisting with the operation of the Teller Line. Completes transactions and related documentation for deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and transfer of funds. Cross-sells credit union services.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Follow all credit union policies, procedures, and requirements in addition to all state and federal laws and regulations, including Regulation CC, the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA Patriot Act/Customer Identification Act (CIP). Educate members on various credit union policies, procedures and related laws and regulations where applicable. Perform the duties of a teller. Assume the responsibility for the ATM in the absence of the Head Teller or when the office operation dictates the need. Assume responsibility for the CDM/TCRs and coin machine in the absence of the Head Teller or when the office operation dictates the need. Cross-sell credit union products and services when possible. Assist the Head Teller in conducting monthly audits of all teller drawers, vaults, ATMs and cash dispensing machines where applicable. Provide backup and support to the Head Teller and other employees within the office when necessary. Other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Lifting up to 35 pounds is occasionally required Extended sitting up to 70% of the time Squatting, kneeling, reaching above and below shoulder level is occasionally required Bending and twisting is frequently required Sound perception/discrimination and verbal speech ability is continuously required Some exposure to dust and/or extreme noise levels may occasionally apply. Intermediate mathematical skills (calculations/concepts involving decimals and percentages) Occasional travel, irregular hours and exposure to dust may be required Ability to use PC software and office equipment. Excellent verbal communication skills. Must be bondable.

Education, Training and Experience:
